We were commissioned to design and project manage this new modern leisure facility on the outskirts of Monaghan Town. The clients brief was to demolish a disused factory premises and develop an open plan gymnasium and two fitness studios. A single storey steel portal frame was designed which facilitated large open plan floor spaces. The external wall finish is rendered blockwork and insulated metal cladding which is also used for the roof. Internal finishes are of fair-faced blockwork, exposed steel frame and services. The project was delivered on time and within budget and is a well-utilised recreational facility.
